keto vs low carb
INFO
This section, provides information on the difference between keto and low carb.
While the low carb and keto diets share many similarities, there are some crucial differences, the main one being total carb intake. On a keto diet, you keep your carb intake typically below 50g. This causes your body to run on fatty acids and ketones. On a low carb diet, however, you consume around 60g to 90g of carbs a day. Due to this slightly higher carb intake, your body will not produce ketones bodies. Some people have been known to get in ketosis at this level of carb intake, however, these people are quite rare.
