tracking marcos
INFO
This section, will briefly outline how to track your macro intake.
To ensure you stay below your daily net carb limit and get enough protein, you should track your macro intake. Various apps are available to make this process fast and hassle-free, you just enter the foods you ate, and the software will calculate your macros.
The macro tracking app I use and recommend is Cronometer. You can use it for free at (www.cronometer.com) Another excellent free option is MyFitnessPal at (www.myfitnesspal.com). Both apps are available for Android and iOS devices.
You do not have to track your dietary fat and calorie intake. The reason is that your body will not store dietary fat and excess calories because the keto diet manages insulin levels. What you do need to track, however, is protein and carb consumption.
