Muscles Used
- Stretches the hamstrings and hip flexors
Advice On Technique
- Lay flat out on your mat with your legs outstretched and arms by your side
- Draw both knees into your chest
- Lift up from your shoulders and pull one knee into the chest as you extend the other leg slowly out with a slight incline
- Your head and shoulders will be off the mat, with your shoulders wide
- Hug the knee towards the shoulder, gently stretching
- Without disturbing your position, switch legs
- Keep pulling in your navel towards your spine as you alternate your legs
- Breath in for one set and out for the other
- If you are tired, return to both knees pulled in to your chest
