Single Leg Stretch

  • Stretches the hamstrings and hip flexors 

Advice On Technique

  1. Lay flat out on your mat with your legs outstretched and arms by your side
  2. Draw both knees into your chest
  3. Lift up from your shoulders and pull one knee into the chest as you extend the other leg slowly out with a slight incline
  4. Your head and shoulders will be off the mat, with your shoulders wide
  5. Hug the knee towards the shoulder, gently stretching
  6. Without disturbing your position, switch legs
  7. Keep pulling in your navel towards your spine as you alternate your legs
  8. Breath in for one set and out for the other
  9. If you are tired, return to both knees pulled in to your chest
