Your Diabetes Risk Score is between 8 and 12

You have a SLIGHTLY ELEVATED RISK of developing Prediabetes or Type 2 Diabetes

You have a slight risk of developing type 2 diabetes. However, this does not mean that you won’t ever develop diabetes. Type 2 Diabetes used to be called adult onset diabetes because our blood sugar levels progressively get worse over time, often without us knowing it.  Be sure to schedule regular check-ups with your doctor and take healthy steps toward preventing or delaying diabetes.

As a recovered sugar addict, I understand what it feels like to be overweight and fearful of getting prediabetes or diabetes.

A word of caution, do not allow the word pre in ‘Prediabetes‘ to fool you in thinking that you can be more relaxed about your condition. Millions of people around the world have prediabetes and are not aware of it. Without lifestyle changes their prediabetic condition will almost certainly at some point lead to the development of Diabetes and other complications.

Prediabetes and Diabetes are conditions to be very concerned about.

  • High blood sugar, a major factor that can lead to Diabetes can negatively impact every part of your body

I share this information not to scare you, but to make you aware of some of the serious complications diabetes can lead to.
